This video messaging system was created to showcase the capabilities of Macintosh. HyperCard was used for both the clients and server. At the time, HyperCard could only display black and white. Therefore, all art and images were restricted by this limitation.
Conference Information
Along with the messaging system, conference information was available as well as restaurant and local entertainment information. A directory provided two ways of finding conference attendees, by an alphabetical index as well as a search function by name or organization. On-line help was available for all sections.
Message Screen
Images of attendees in email messages made contacting people at the conference much easier. Scanning of participants took only a moment during the general conference registration. The attendees could immediately approve the picture or choose to have another taken.
